Early Times Kentucky Whiskey is an American whiskey bottled at 40% in a 1.75 litre bottle. It is made from bourbon blended with whiskey aged in used barrels, so it is labelled Kentucky whiskey rather than bourbon. The mashbill is 79% corn, 11% rye and 10% malted barley.
The nose brings caramel and vanilla, with soft oak, cinnamon and a biscuity, bready cereal character. The palate is gentle and grain-sweet, adding cinnamon, light peanut and cocoa. The finish is medium and fairly dry, with caramel, vanilla and mild baking spice.
