Eclisse Liquirizia Franciacorta (70cl, 22%)

Eclisse Liquirizia is a sparkling wine from Distillerie Franciacorta, produced in Lombardy with a carefully balanced addition of liquorice. It has a bright golden colour with fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose it offers ripe white fruit such as pear and apple, with a delicate liquorice undertone. On the palate it is creamy and rich, with lively acidity balanced by the subtle sweetness of liquorice; the finish is long and cleansing. It works as an aperitif or with fish and white meat dishes.
