Eden Mill The Guard Bridge Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Eden Mill The Guard Bridge is a blended malt Scotch whisky made by marrying aged Highland and Lowland single malts, among them whisky from Eden Mill in St Andrews. Head Distiller Scott Ferguson selected and married the components, which the producer says are finished in ex-Eden Mill single malt casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, natural in colour and non-chill filtered. The name refers to the historic Guard Bridge linking St Andrews with Guardbridge. Highland malt brings a robust, spicy, fruity side, while Lowland malt adds a lighter floral and grassy note. The profile combines sweet vanilla, barley sugar and cereal sweetness with mellow oak spice and light sherry fruit.
