This Edradour 10 Year Old Distillery Edition marks the 200th anniversary of the small Highland distillery. It is a single malt matured fully in ex-oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has hints of dried fruit, oloroso and almonds. On the palate come spicy Christmas cake, sweet golden syrup and a touch of honeyed almonds, with a rich, old-fashioned mouthfeel that comes from the small copper farm stills. The finish is oaky, with soft spices, mellow and warming.
