Edradour 2016 Sauternes Small Batch 10 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky matured in Sauternes wine casks. It was bottled as a limited small batch release.
The Sauternes casks add apricot, peach, vanilla and toasted oak to Edradour's rich spirit, which is made in the distillery's handmade style.
The nose is honey, stewed orchard fruit, vanilla cream, raisins and sweet wine notes. On the palate there is rich malt, apricot jam, caramel, baking spice, toasted almonds and citrus peel. The finish is long and warming, with sweet spice, oak and dried fruit.
