This is an 8 year old Highland single malt from Edradour, distilled in 2018 and released as No. 2 in the CNDP Anniversary series. It is bottled by Signatory Vintage.
Edradour sits in the hills above Pitlochry in Highland Perthshire, and is among Scotland's smallest distilleries.
The nose is soft orchard fruit, honeyed malt and vanilla, with an earthy note, and dried fruit and gentle spice emerging over time. The palate is full-bodied and rounded, with sweet malt, baked fruit, creamy vanilla and warming spice, over toasted oak. The finish is long and warming, with malt, oak spice and dried fruit giving way to gentle sweetness.
