A 25-year-old single cask Edradour, distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2025 for the distillery's 200th anniversary. Edradour has made single malt in Pitlochry since 1825.
This one matured in a Madeira cask, numbered 901, and the long maturation has worked the wine's aromas in deeply and harmoniously. Fortified wine casks give fewer tannins and more bright sweetness, citrus fruit and nutty notes. It is one of two Madeira casks released for the anniversary.
