Edradour – 6 Year Old 2020/2026 Best Dram First Fill PX Sherry Hogshead #36 (70cl, 59.7%)

This is a six year old Highland single malt from Edradour, bottled by the independent bottler Best Dram. It was distilled in 2020 and bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 59.7%, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured in a first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead, number 36, which gave 313 bottles. It has a mahogany colour, with no added colour, and has not been chill-filtered. The nose shows raisins and plums with oak and fine spice. The palate is full and syrupy with dried fruit and pronounced malt, and the finish is long with sherry notes.
