Edradour – 6 Years 2020/2026 Whisky Live Germany 1st Fill PX Hogshead #42 (70cl, 59.9%)

This is a 6-year-old Edradour single malt distilled on 29 January 2020 and bottled in 2026 for Whisky Live Germany 2026. It matured for six years in a first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead, cask #42, and was bottled at 59.9% vol. in a 70cl bottle. The outturn was 318 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and bottled without colouring. The profile is non-smoky, combining dried fruit with caramel and dark roasted aromas. A few drops of water can be used to explore the aromas at a lower drinking strength. The nose brings figs and raisins with caramel and spicy accents. The palate is shaped by creamy toffee and dark cocoa. The finish is long, with roasted coffee and slightly dry impressions.
