Edradour – Caledonia 12 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

Edradour Caledonia 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the Pitlochry distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was selected with the Scottish singer-songwriter Dougie Maclean and takes its name from his song "Caledonia". The spirit was first matured in ex-bourbon casks, then finished for four to five years in an Oloroso sherry cask. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The nose brings walnut, dark cherry and Christmas-cake spice. On the palate come fig, toffee, cocoa and orange oils, followed by a long, warming finish of oak and dried fruit.
