A blanco tequila made entirely from blue agave grown near Amatitán in Jalisco, Mexico. It is produced at the Herradura distillery, founded in 1870, and bottled immediately after double distillation. The nose shows fresh agave, apple, pineapple and black pepper. On the palate it is fresh and clean, with cooked agave, herbal notes and a light minerality. It can be enjoyed neat or in cocktails such as the Margarita or Paloma.
