El Jimador Reposado is a tequila made from blue agave, produced in the Jalisco region of Mexico. It is aged in oak barrels for two months.
On the nose it shows aromatic notes of cooked fruit and hints of vanilla, with a light touch of spice. On the palate the sweet, earthy flavour of blue agave blends with touches of caramel and chocolate from the ageing. It is surprisingly smooth.
The finish is clean and persistent, with a delicate aftertaste of sweet spices. It is suited to drinking neat or as a base for refined cocktails, and is best served slightly chilled.
