Elements of Islay Bourbon Cask is a blended malt from Elixir Distillers, bottled at 54.5%. The Elements of Islay range draws on casks from active and some closed Islay distilleries, of differing ages, with the aim of showing the medicinal, peaty and maritime character of island malts.
This bottling is matured in first-fill and refill bourbon casks. It pairs classic, forceful barbecue smoke from a distillery on Islay's south coast with subtler, spicy aromas from the north coast.
