It is matured in bourbon casks, which soften the peat and add sweet, amber notes. The smoky character of Islay sits alongside vanilla, honey and caramel, with light touches of fruit.
The nose is deep and complex. The palate is full, complex and lingering, with a rounded feel from the long time in American wood.
