Cask Edit is a peated Islay whisky from Elements of Islay, made from a selection of whiskies matured in oak casks. It comes in a 70cl bottle. Smoke and the marine character of Islay run through it, along with peat and burnt wood. The nose brings iodine, seaweed and smoke, set against sweet vanilla and a little dried fruit. The palate is rich and enveloping, with peat balanced by softness from the oak. The finish is persistent, returning to salty air and smoke.
