Elephant Sloe Gin (50cl)

Elephant Sloe Gin is a sloe gin from Germany, made exactly like the brand's London Dry, with sloe berries macerated in it and then pressed. It is produced by hand in small batches of 600 to 700 bottles, distilled one-shot with natural botanicals macerated for a day in a copper still. The cork comes from Spain and carries a strand of beads made by the Maasai in Kenya. The brand gives 15% of its revenue to two African wildlife foundations. The nose is mostly sloe, with sweet red fruit and spice. The palate is noticeably drier than typical sloe gins, with spice from the London Dry and a little sweetness from the berries. The finish keeps red fruit and sloe, with a floral note.
