Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Batch C924 is an 11-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 129 proof (64.5%) straight from the barrel without chill filtering. Each batch carries its own age statement, taken from the youngest barrel in it, and the bottles are hand labelled with the proof and batch number.
The nose offers caramel and toasted oak with apple and orange. The palate is rich with vanilla, caramel and butterscotch, and black pepper and cinnamon at the back. The finish is layered, fading slowly and lingering as it cools.
