Batch B526 is the third release in Elijah Craig's Barrel Proof Rye series from Heaven Hill in Bardstown, Kentucky, and the second batch of 2026. It is 10 years and 8 months old, bottled straight from the barrel at 57.8% ABV (115.6 proof), uncut and non-chill filtered, in a 75cl bottle.
The mash bill is 51% rye, 35% corn and 14% malted barley. The label of each batch carries its own proof, age and batch code.
The nose offers caramel, toasted oak, cinnamon, orange peel and baking spice, with dried fruit and herbal rye. The palate brings toffee, brown sugar, dark fruit and black pepper in an oily texture. The finish is long and warming, with rye spice, oak and brown sugar.
