This is an 11 year old Kentucky bourbon from Elijah Craig, bottled at barrel proof from batch C924 in a 750ml bottle. It is uncut, taken straight from the barrel and not chill-filtered. Each bottle is hand labelled with its own proof and batch number.
The nose offers caramel and toasted oak with apple and orange. On the palate come rich vanilla, caramel and butterscotch, with black pepper and cinnamon at the back. The finish is layered, fading slowly and lingering as it cools.
