Elijah Craig Single Barrel 20 Year Old Script Bottling is a bourbon aged for 20 years in a single charred oak barrel. Each bottle comes from one barrel rather than a vatting of many.
It was introduced to take the place of the earlier 18 year old bottling in the range. The whiskey in this release comes from the same parcel of barrels as a bourbon that Whisky Advocate named American Whiskey of the Year.
