Elijah Craig Small Batch 250 Years America Deep Etched (75cl, 47%)

This is Elijah Craig Small Batch, a Kentucky straight bourbon at 47% ABV (94 proof), in a 750ml bottle that has been deep etched with a custom design marking America's 250th anniversary. The design is cut directly into the glass rather than painted, and the etching is a custom addition to the bottle rather than an official Elijah Craig edition. The nose is vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and light spice. On the palate there is rich caramel, baking spices and oak with a subtle sweetness, and the finish is smooth and warm, slightly smoky, with lingering spice.
