Elijah Craig Small Batch is a bourbon named after the Reverend Elijah Craig, who is known in the United States as the father of bourbon. It carries no age statement, but it is aged between 8 and 12 years. Each release is drawn from a selection of 200 casks.
The nose is sweet, with vanilla, honey, butterscotch and fresh mint. The palate is smooth with a gentle spice: nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla and honey, with leather and tobacco. The finish is warm, sweet and of medium length, with cinnamon, vanilla and a touch of toasted oak.
