Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, bottled at 47% ABV in a 70cl bottle. After its regular maturation in freshly charred oak casks, it is matured a second time in toasted barrels.
That second stage defines the expression, and the bourbon is bottled without added colouring. Its aroma runs to caramel, vanilla, toasted wood and dark chocolate. On the palate it is full-bodied and spicy, and the finish is long and warm.
