Enrico Serafino Extra Quality Vermouth (1L, 16.5%)

This is an Extra Quality vermouth from Enrico Serafino, an older bottling dating from the 1960s or 1970s. It is 16.5% vol and comes in a one-litre bottle. Vermouth is an aromatised wine, and the style began in Turin in the late eighteenth century. By law it must contain at least 75% wine and be between 14.5% and 22% alcohol, with artemisia among its botanicals. It has long been used in cocktails such as the Martini, the Americano and the Negroni, and it is also enjoyed neat.
