Etna Bianco Nerina Girolamo Russo

Etna Bianco Nerina is a white wine from Girolamo Russo, made from a selection of native grapes grown on the slopes of Etna. Carricante, Catarratto and Minnella are among the varieties used. The volcanic soil gives the wine freshness and complexity. On the nose it shows citrus, white flowers, delicate minerality and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is vibrant, with good acidity balanced by an elegant structure, a light savoury note reminiscent of the sea and bitter almond nuances on the finish. It suits fish, shellfish, seafood, light dishes and vegetarian first courses.
