As a bottled-in-bond whiskey, it comes from a single distilling season at one distillery and matures for at least four years under government supervision. The casks are new charred oak barrels.
Caramel leads the nose, with vanilla, oak and a hint of barley. The palate combines citrus, vanilla and black pepper, and the finish is warming, long and dry.
