Evan Williams is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 43% ABV in a 1.75-litre handle bottle. It is made by Heaven Hill.
The mashbill is 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley, and the spirit is matured in new charred American oak barrels.
Vanilla, fresh mint and butterscotch lead the nose. On the palate, caramel and brown sugar build to toasted oak, rye spice and dark fruit. The finish is medium to long, with caramel, grain, nuttiness and baking spice.
