This is Evan Williams Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl plastic PET bottle. It carries no age statement.
The bourbon is made by the sour mash method from a mashbill of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley, then aged in new charred American oak barrels.
The nose is brown sugar, caramel and vanilla with baking spice and a faint hint of cherry. On the palate come caramel corn and honey, then black tea, pepper and a little citrus rind. The finish is medium in length, with white pepper, light char and a trace of butterscotch.
