Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage 2015 is a Kentucky straight bourbon from a single hand-selected barrel of 2015 whiskey, chosen by Heaven Hill's master distillers. It is bottled at 43.3% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Each bottle carries its barrel serial number and the dates of barrelling and bottling, and is sealed with black wax. The whiskey was distilled at Bernheim in Louisville and bottled in Bardstown, and it reads at roughly nine years of oak age. The nose shows dark caramel, sweet oak and charred wood. The palate is lush and spicy, with honey, apple and orange alongside the oak, and the finish is long and relaxed.
