Excellia Añejo is a tequila from Jalisco, Mexico, aged for 16 months in casks that previously held Grand Cru Sauternes and Cognac. It sits apart from the other expressions in the range.
The flavour opens with over-ripe banana, mango, toffee and chocolate chips. With time it turns more agave-led, showing cracked pepper, herbs and minerals.
