Ezra Brooks 99 Proof is a Kentucky sour mash bourbon, bottled at 49.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is made from a sour mash recipe and matures in new, charred American white oak barrels.
After maturation the bourbon is charcoal-filtered, which gives a smooth, mellow finish. The colour is a deep amber.
The palate is bold. It can be drunk neat or over ice, and it also works as the base of a cocktail.
