A seven year old rye whiskey from the Ezra Brooks brand, which is produced by Luxco, the company that founded Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown, Kentucky. It is charcoal filtered, and the colour is a rich amber with reddish hues.
The nose has caramel, vanilla and oak with a hint of spice. The palate is smooth and velvety, with caramel, vanilla, oak, black pepper and a touch of sweetness. The finish is long and elegant, with a lingering warmth.
