Fable Chapter 2 is the second release in Fable's storytelling series, drawing on the myth of The Ghost Piper of Clanyard Bay. It is a single cask Linkwood, distilled in Speyside in 2014.
The whisky spent seven years in a single oak hogshead and was bottled at natural cask strength, unfiltered. Only 322 bottles were filled.
The nose offers orchard fruits, citrus peel and delicate florals. On the palate come vanilla cream, green apple, sweet barley and subtle spice, leading to a clean, warming finish of dry oak, white pepper and lingering sweetness.
