Famille Hugel Gewurztraminer Vendange Tardive

A late-harvest Gewurztraminer from Famille Hugel, produced in Alsace from Gewurztraminer grapes left to ripen longer than usual. The late harvest enriches sugars and aromas, giving an elegant and complex wine. It has a bright golden colour. On the nose there are intense aromas of rose, lychee, sweet spices and a pleasant honeyed note. On the palate it is soft, balanced by freshness, with harmony between sweetness and acidity. The finish is long, with floral and fruity returns. It pairs well with spicy dishes, blue cheeses and desserts based on exotic fruit.
