Famille Hugel Riesling Vendange Tardive

A late-harvest white wine from Alsace, made from Riesling grapes left to ripen on the vine. Produced around Colmar, it reflects a calcareous and clay terroir that gives a mineral, vibrant character. It is aged in stainless steel or large casks, preserving the grape's purity. On the nose it shows white-fleshed fruit, honey and candied citrus, with balsamic notes. The palate balances sweetness with freshness, with a soft, enveloping structure and a long, persistent finish. It suits blue cheeses, foie gras and dried-fruit desserts.
