Famille Lieubeau Sauvignon Loire IGP

A Sauvignon from the Loire by Famille Lieubeau. It is pale straw in colour, with a bouquet of grapefruit and lime, cut grass and a subtle mineral note reminiscent of wet stone. The olfactory impact is linear but interesting, built on precision rather than opulence, with lively acidity keeping the sip vibrant. On the palate it shows a slender body, lively acidity and pleasant savouriness that lengthens the drink. The finish is clean and dry, with a persistence that invites a second glass. It pairs successfully with seafood, grilled fish and fresh cheeses, and is perfect as an aperitif served well chilled, around 8-10 °C in a tulip glass.
