Fary Lochan Sæson #1 is the first release in the Sæson series, a single malt bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle.
The series grows out of the distillery's early range, De 4 Årstider, made up of Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring whiskies, two of them unsmoked and two made with nettle smoke. Fifteen years on, the seasons have merged into one long season, and the new series takes its name from that.
Sæson 1 is light and mild, yet powerful and oily in character. It is meant to be enjoyed in good company and works well in classic cocktails.
