Fathertime The Caboose Red Label is a small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at barrel strength of 60.5% ABV (121 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It is aged in heavily charred American oak barrels.
The Fathertime bourbons draw on heritage, fatherhood and American whiskey tradition, and this Red Label is a full-bodied expression.
The nose shows dark caramel, toasted vanilla, charred oak, cinnamon, leather and brown sugar. The palate is intense, with toffee, vanilla bean, roasted oak, baking spice, dark honey and peppery warmth. The finish is long and warming, with oak char, sweet caramel and lingering spice.
