Fercullen Irish Blended Whiskey is bottled by Powerscourt Distillery at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit was bought from Cooley Distillery, and it was produced there by Noel Sweeney, now Powerscourt's Master Distiller. It can be drunk neat and also works in an Irish coffee. The name is the English form of Fera Cualann, the old Gaelic name for the Powerscourt Estate and the land around it. The nose has vanilla, citrus, honey, spice, almonds, orange peel and oak. The palate is gentle and crisp, with grain, caramel, fruit and a pleasant sweetness, and the finish is long, with sweet vanilla and toasted oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
