Ferghettina Milledì Franciacorta DOCG Brut Millesimato

A Franciacorta from Ferghettina, made exclusively from selected Chardonnay grapes grown in the Franciacorta area of Lombardy. The grapes are hand-harvested in early September, then fermented and matured in steel before a second fermentation in bottle by the traditional method, resting on the lees for at least 36 months. The nose offers ripe peach and citrus, white flowers and light toasted bread. On the palate it is fresh, with lively acidity and harmonious balance, and a clean, persistent finish with mineral and fruity notes. It suits light starters, fish, seafood and fresh cheeses.
