Fernet Contratto is a Piedmontese bitter liqueur made from selected aromatic herbs, roots and spices, distilled to balance bitter, sweet and spicy notes. It has an intense, deep colour. The nose brings balsamic notes, cinchona, mint and a light citrus nuance. The palate is full-bodied, with a persistent harmony between bitter and rounder sensations.
It is suited to drinking after a meal, neat or over ice, and to accompanying grilled meats or aged cheeses.
