An aged tawny Port from Porto Ferreira, bottled as a 30 Year Old and named in tribute to Dona Antónia, who dedicated her life to the Douro and to Port.
The colour is bright gold with brick-red nuances. The aroma is intense and complex, with pepper, ginger and nutmeg, balsamic hints of wax and cigar box, a slight touch of aniseed and well-ripened red fruits.
The palate has excellent volume and vibrant acidity, with abundant spice, especially pepper, and a hint of jam. The finish is elegant and almost endless.
