Fettercairn 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It was matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, which give it a colour of sunlight and amber honey.
The distillery calls its tropical character a signature house style.
The palate shows vanilla and pear with soft spices. The finish brings nectarine and tropical fruit, with subtle roasted coffee, clove and ginger, ending on sultanas and black toffee.
