A 16 year old Highland single malt from Fettercairn, in a 70cl bottle at 46.4% ABV. It was matured in a combination of oak casks and is of natural colour. Fettercairn was founded in 1824 beneath the Grampian foothills in Aberdeenshire and is known for its cooling ring distillation.
The nose shows fresh pineapple, mango, honey, vanilla pod and citrus peel, with subtle oak spice. Tropical fruit, baked apple, caramel, toasted almonds, ginger and soft vanilla sweetness make up the palate. The finish is long and warming, with fruit, oak spice and honeyed notes.
