A 22 year old Highland single malt from Fettercairn, in a 70cl bottle at 47% ABV. The distillery was established in 1824 at the foot of the Grampian Mountains in Aberdeenshire and is known for its copper cooling ring.
The nose offers ripe mango, pineapple, honeycomb, vanilla, toasted coconut and orange peel, with gentle oak spice. Tropical fruit, baked orchard fruit, caramelised sugar, roasted nuts and cinnamon lead the palate. The finish is long and warming, with honey, spice, tropical fruit and polished oak.
