Fettercairn – 24 Years Old (46.5%)

Fettercairn 24 Years Old is a single malt bottled at 46.5% ABV, with natural colour and without chill-filtration. It is made from first-fill and refill ex-bourbon American white oak barrels and hogsheads, combined after at least 24 years in cask. The aim is to show the distillery's tropical fruit house style, which begins with the new make. The nose brings rich tropical fruits, Madagascan vanilla, toffee and fresh patisserie aromas of brioche and croissant. On the palate are guava, Alphonso mango, warm honey and red liquorice, and the finish carries subtle red berry fruits, star anise, gentle roasted coffee and nutmeg.
