Fettercairn 29 Year Old Vanguard Rare is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the distillery's Vanguard series, limited to 99 bottles. It is bottled at natural cask strength of 48.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured for 26 years in refill bourbon hogsheads, then spent a further three years in bespoke French pink oak casks. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
Tasting notes describe tropical fruit, honeyed sweetness, strawberries and cream, and soft oak spice.
