FEW – Rye (70cl)

Few Rye is a four-year-old bourbon from the FEW distillery in Evanston, Illinois. The mash is 70% rye, 20% corn and 10% malted barley, and the whiskey was matured in new American oak casks from Minnesota. The distillery takes its name from Frances E. Willard, the temperance campaigner who was born in Evanston. The nose opens with rye, then caramel, vanilla, brown sugar and cinnamon, with hints of butter, pepper and citrus peel. The palate has good body and balance, with rye, wood, cinnamon and honey. The finish is balanced and lasting, with rye, spice and cereal.
