Few Spirits Rye is a small-batch American rye whiskey, made from grain to glass in Evanston, Illinois. It is bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle, without chill filtration.
The mashbill is 70% rye, 20% corn and 10% malted barley. It is fermented with a French wine yeast from the Loire Valley and aged in charred new American oak barrels.
The nose shows caramel, raw honey, chamomile tea and cedar. On the palate, rye spice comes with vanilla, brown sugar, black pepper, citrus zest and stone fruit. The finish is medium to long and warming, with cinnamon, orange peel, toasted oak and butterscotch.
