Few Spirits Single Malt is an American single malt whiskey from Evanston, Illinois, bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is made from 100% malted barley, part unsmoked and part smoked over cherrywood, with grain sourced within 100 miles of the distillery. It is aged in oak barrels made for the distillery and previously used for its rye and bourbon. The nose shows vanilla fudge, salted caramel, green apple and thyme honey. The palate is sweet and malty, with red apple, dried plum, treacle, a dry peppery smoke and Szechuan peppercorn. The finish is medium, with spicy caramel, toasted oak and dark chocolate.
